Mineral Name: Dravite Tourmaline—green color comes from chromium or vanadium.
Dimensions: .47” x .24” (12mm x 6mm)
Characteristics of this specimen: These miniature crystals display deepest and most vibrant green shades, often with dark brown zones. The crystals from this mine are very distinctive, and make excellent supply for jewelry artisans or mineral collectors.
Care Notes: Tourmaline is a hard and durable mineral.

FORMATION: Tourmaline has a hardness of 7-7.5. Dravite tourmaline is most often brown, but when it is included with chromium or vanadium (the same coloring elements in emeralds), the Dravite turns a vibrant and deep green shade.
HEALING: Green tourmaline is associated with growth, emotional healing, and growth in the plant kingdom especially.
