White sage--
White and blue sage are sacred herbs burned for cleansing and clearing rituals. This practice, commonly known as smudging, has been used by Native American cultures for centuries. Smudging is also used in other cultures such as Celtic druidry, and is a common practice during prayers of many different types. Our White sage is sustainably and respectfully harvested from California, and is available in combination with many different herbs and woods. Also check out our Palo Santo and Smudge Kit sections!
Blue sage--
White and blue sage are sacred herbs burned for cleansing and clearing rituals. This practice, commonly known as smudging, has been used by Native American cultures for centuries. Smudging is also used in other cultures such as Celtic druidry, and is a common practice during prayers of many different types. Our Blue sage (a desert sage with smaller leaves) is sustainably and respectfully harvested in Colorado, and is available in combination with many different herbs and woods. Also check out our Palo Santo and Smudge Kit sections!
Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens) is a fragrant holy wood that grows throughout Central and South America. It has a smell reminiscent of citrus and mint, and is burned for both ceremonial and practical purposes (it can be used to keep insects away, and is often burned this way in Ecuador and Peru especially.) Palo Santo is traditionally burned during new year celebrations, and is also used in a similar manner as sage and cedar for cleansing and prayer rituals. Our Palo Santo is sustainably harvested in Peru, and our collection includes sticks, resin, and much more. Contact us if you're looking for a form that you don't see here!
Sweetgrass (Hierochloe odorata), is named for its sweet, vanilla-like scent. This tall grass is native to many areas around the world, from Europe, Asia, North America, to even as far north as the Arctic Circle. Native American cultures consider it one of the most sacred and healing herbs, and it is traditionally braided and dried prior to burning. One needs simply to trim off an end of the braid and burn, and it is believed to invite beneficial spirits and good luck into the space. We have sweetgrass available from Colorado as well as Canadian sources--contact us if you are in search of a type you don't see here!
Smudge Kits--
Our beautifully handmade smudge kits combine multiple sacred herbs into meaningful, intentional kits tailored to a certain theme or purpose. These kits are diverse in form, including shells with loose herbs, woven hearts, and more. We also offer feather fans (or single feathers) that can be used to move the smoke during smudge ceremonies--feathers and herbs are sustainably and ethically sourced, and kits are hand assembled. Also check out our Sage and Palo Santo sections!
Palm and Coconut Wax Candles--
Our beautiful Palm and Coconut Wax candles make a perfect gift! We carry a variety of palm and coconut candles blended with 100% essential oils, in jars, pillars, and votives. The candles are made from wax produced by plantations that are certified for using sustainable agricultural practices--the palm wax blend combines organic palm oil from Brazil and Colombia, and conventional palm oil from Malaysia (where measures have been put in place to stop the spread of rainforest clearing for palm oil). Styles include traditional scents, and also blends that are intended to symbolize the connection of different chakras and intentions. Browse our collection of palm and coconut wax candles here, and also take a look at our Soy Candles Section, as well as candleholders and accessories!
Soy Wax Candles--
Our Soy Candles are super convenient: the candles have been poured into tins for easy transportation, making them perfect for travel. These "travel candles" have a delicious mix of scents and essential oils, and are available in 1 oz and 4 oz sizes. Also take a look at our Palm and Coconut Wax candle Section!
Chime Candles--
We have a wide variety of mini candles, made out of unscented paraffin wax with a short cotton wick. These candles are the perfect teeny size for ritual or a little pick-me-up, and can be anointed or carved to suit your specific purposes. They come in many colors, and are all just 2 for $1, so you may buy one in every color you need! Chime candle holders can be found in our Burners & Holders section.
Cone incense--
Cone style incense is unique in that it is solid powder formed into a cone--it burns from the tip down in a concentrated form, which can make it produce more fragrant smoke and burn more slowly than sticks. Backflow burners use the smoke produced by special backflow cones to create beautiful landscapes and patterns--see our Holders & Burners section for this unique style!

Japanese Style Incense--

Nippon Kodo's Morningstar Incense is based off of formulas that are more than 400 years old, and date back to the mastery of precious and rare oils and spices, given to the Emperor of Japan and his court. This Japanese incense company has existed since 1575, and continues to make high-quality incense that is intended for everyday use. Morningstar Incense is a well-loved style of hand-rolled Japanese incense sticks. They are pure blended incense powder sticks, with no stick in the center--the lack of wood makes these sticks burn quickly, with a pure and clean scent. This style of incense is perfect for those who may find the scent of traditional Indian-style incense to be too heavy or smoky--Japanese style sticks burn with less smoke and a lighter scent.

Indian Style Incense--

Indian style incense, in particular the world-renowned Nag Champa, is some of the most popular hand-rolled incense in the world! Nag Champa is a heady, rich floral scent based off of the fragrant Champaca flower (Magnolia Champaca tree), which is grown as sacred plant in India and elsewhere in Asia. If you have burned incense, it's almost a guarantee that you will recognize and remember the perfume of this legendary incense! Indian style sticks are hand-rolled from powder with a small stick as a base, and burn for approximately 45 minutes each.
