Lepidolite (1) Polished Tumbled Stone China

This is one piece of soft purple Lepidolite, a lithium bearing mica variety! It has been tumbled smooth and is polished on all sides, making it the perfect size for a pocket, purse, pillow, or palm. These stones would also make a perfect addition to a crystal grid. Colors include lavender and slightly pinkish purple hues, and each piece is unique. This type of Lepidolite is from China.

It commonly forms in changing environments along with pegmatite minerals such as beryl, tourmaline, and quartz. Thought flaky and fragile in its natural state, tumbling this particular stone has greatly enhanced its durability.
