This is a bracelet of basalt, or lava rock, beads, strung on elastic. This is a unique, highly textured example of Lava Rock! Its porous and unusual surface texture sets it apart; it can be used as a fragrance diffuser, by rolling the porous beads in essential oil.

Our stretch stone bracelets are made for wearability and comfort, and can be worn alone or combined as an ensemble. (We highly recommend removing any stretch bracelet before showering, swimming, or during physical activity, and be careful stretching it excessively when taking on and off.) Lava Rock 

PHYSICAL: Lava Rock is also known as Basalt, a volcanic rock. Igneous rocks that form at the surface or upper crust of the earth known as volcanic. Lava Rock has a porous and rough texture which results from vesicles bursting during formation. 

HEALING: Lava Rock is a grounding stone which is connected to stability and strength during periods of change. It is thought to strengthen the connection to Mother Earth. 

Though many gems and minerals have historical and cultural associations with healing properties, these items are sold for wear in jewelry, display, study, and collector interest only.
