Dimensions: 0.73" x 0.65" (19mm x 17mm)

Characteristics of this specimen: This is a large, richly colored bright green cubic cluster from the now-closed Rogerley Mine.

Green Fluorite from Rogerley Mine is known for its bright green tones, some with grey zones, cubic crystals, and extreme fluorescent reactions. Under UV, these crystals grow a brilliant blue! They are fluorescent enough to begin to turn indigo under sunlight (although they should be kept out of prolonged sun exposure.)

Care Notes: Fluorite is a halide mineral that forms in isometric habits, including cubes, octahedra, dodecahedra. It forms in a rainbow of colors. Fluorite is photo-sensitive, so care should be taken to not leave in prolonged sun.
