Characteristics of this specimen: These miniature crystals displays pink, green, and sometimes blue shades. The most common color is green, but bicolored and tricolored crystals are common from this area.
Care Notes: Tourmaline is a hard and durable mineral.
FORMATION: Tourmaline has a hardness of 7-7.5. Elbaite tourmaline is a well-loved variety for its bright and often bicolored crystals, including watermelon formation.
