Fluorite Octahedron (1) Raw Stone

 This is one Fluorite Octahedral crystal, it has been tumbled smooth and is polished on all sides, making it the perfect size for a pocket, purse, pillow, or palm. These stones would also make a perfect addition to a crystal grid.

One piece will be intuitively chosen from our selection of available tumbled stones. Sizes and colors will vary, as well as inclusions and surface features. Tumbled stones have been smoothed via rock tumbler, and may have a matte or shiny polished surface; unless listed in description, stones are completely natural and untreated.

PHYSICAL: Fluorite is an isometric mineral, which forms in the cubic system. Some of the most common shapes are cubes, octahedra, and dodecahedra. These crystals may be formed from cleavage (impacts that hit along the cleavage planes, cleaving the stones into eight-sided crystals.) Fluorite is one of the world's most popular collector's minerals, and forms in nearly every color. It is soft and sensitive to prolonged sunlight, so it should be kept out of long term sun exposure.
