 This is one piece of Pink Conch Shell, it has been tumbled smooth and is polished on all sides, making it the perfect size for a pocket, purse, pillow, or palm. They are not pearls but rather smoothed sections of the shell. These tumbled pieces would also make a perfect addition to a crystal grid.

The Queen Conch or Pink Conch (Strombus gigas, named by Linnaeus in 1758), is a slow-growing gastropod which lives in the Caribbean; its body is protected with a very hard and fine outer shell formed from calcium carbonate (aragonite and calcite).
