Characteristics of this specimen: A rare shade of apophyllite, this pink variety is a light salmon color, and the apophyllite is a sparkly cluster of very small crystals. A unique addition to any specimen collection!

PHYSICAL: Fluorapophyllite (or Apophyllite for short) is part of the larger Apophyllite group. It is a phyllosilicate mineral, and fluorapophyllite is the most desirable for mineral collectors. The mineral is found as a secondary mineral in vesicles in volcanic rocks such as basalt, in associated with zeolites. Green and clear are common, but pink is the rarest and most recently discovered color.
HEALING: Pink Apophyllite is associated with connecting between the heart and crown chakras, and aligning with angelic energy.
