This is a pair of unique polished lime green peridot gems, which are held in sterling silver prongs. The bright green stud earrings have a gemmy and pleasing appearance—they’re vibrant and a great value.  Peridot is the gem of the mineral olivine, which is an important rock-forming mineral in the earth’s mantle. Peridot characteristically forms in the mantle and shoots to the surface in magma tubes, in a similar way to diamonds in kimberlite pipes.
