Garnet (1) Polished Shaped Facets Dodecahedral Tumbled Stone India
This is one piece of deep red Almandine Garnet, cut into the facets to give it a dodecahedral shape! These stones have not naturally formed dodecahedrons, but have been shaped. It has been tumbled smooth and is polished on all sides, making it the perfect size for a pocket, purse, pillow, or palm. These stones would also make a perfect addition to a crystal grid. Colors include deep red and slightly gemmy red edges, and each piece is unique. This type of Garnet is from India.
One piece will be intuitively chosen from our selection of available tumbled stones. Sizes and colors will vary, as well as inclusions and surface features. Tumbled stones have been smoothed via rock tumbler, and may have a matte or shiny polished surface; unless listed in description, stones are completely natural and untreated.

PHYSICAL: Garnet is a complex group of closely related minerals, which vary in chemical and physical properties from each other. Almandine, seen here, is the most common variety in both specimens and jewelry. Garnet naturally forms cubes, octahedra, and dodecahedra, though the shape here has been cut by man.
METAPHYSICAL/CULTURAL: Almandine Garnet is associated with grounding, vitality, health, and physical strength. Garnet is connected to the Root Chakra (1st) and the earth element.
