Dumortierite (1) Tumbled Stone

 This is one piece of Dumortierite, it has been tumbled smooth and is polished on all sides, making it the perfect size for a pocket, purse, pillow, or palm. These stones would also make a perfect addition to a crystal grid.

Tumbled stones have been smoothed via rock tumbler, and may have a matte or shiny polished surface; unless listed in description, stones are completely natural and untreated.

PHYSICAL: Dumortierite is a blue aluminum boro-silicate mineral, which forms in massive chunks (as here) or delicate crystals of seemingly impossible fineness. It is an unusual mineral, and may also form in quartz as an inclusion. The largest deposits of dumortierite are found in Brazil.
