This richly shaded little beauty is purple cubic Fluorite crystals, flanked by sparkly druzy quartz stalactite. This distinctive combination is a classic mineral specimen from Jingbian deposit, China. This contrasting dark toned miniature crystal cluster features layered geometric purple fluorite crystals with a sparkling backdrop of druzy quartz, and has been mounted on a 1.13" clear base for display. An ideal and efficient addition to any mineral collection!
Locality: Jingbian Deposit, Anqing Prefect, Anhui Province, China.

Formation: Fluorite is a halide mineral, known for its bright variety of colors and cubic (isometric) habits. Chinese deposits produce some of the world’s finest and most collectible fluorite specimens. Druzy is a crystallized crust which grows atop other stones—most often quartz and chalcedony.
